Dear Rick:

Enclosed please find my check in the amount of $2500.00 as balance due for two (2) 130 class deer taken at Starkey Hollow by my son, Kevin and myself. We had a great time as did my grandson, Bryce. The lodge was like a five star hotel and the view, looking down into the valley, was spectacular. That, together with the meals cooked by our guide, Joe, made this the best three days of hunting we have ever experienced.

The deer we saw were impressive and numerous and Joe, our guide, was a fabulous host. I was amazed at his wildlife management skills, his knowledge of the property and its deer herd. This, for us, was a truly enjoyable experience that I would like to share with the rest of my family.

Usually on the trip home from each hunting excursion, my son and I discuss and plan next year’s hunting trip. This time, however, we had to include in our discussion, my grandson Bryce who emphatically continued to say that he wants to come back to Starkey Hollow next year. Not only did he have the time of his life watching all the deer, he found a new friend in Joe.

Once we get our dates set for next year, I will be contacting you to schedule our 2014 hunting trip at Starkey Hollow. By the way, we have another hunter in our family, my son’s wife Melissa, who we expect to bring. Her last hunting experience was a wild boar hunt where she took a 3001b boar. We intend to introduce her to deer hunting at Starkey Hollow.
